Now, vaping weed can refer to two different things:

  1. Vaping flower in a herbal vaporizer.

  • Vaping is More Discreet: Vapor is thinner than smoke, and way more discreet as a result.  The vapor has less of a smell, and the clouds dissipate fast enough to draw as little attention as possible.  This is great if you’re trying to get high without people around you noticing.
  • Vaping is Easier on the Throat: Vapor also tends to be easier on the throat than smoke, which is great for those who are more prone to coughing and throat irritation.  Because vapor carries more water molecules than smoke, it goes along the respiratory tract more easily, rather than being harsh.  Of course, if you’re vaping at too high of a setting, or take in too big of a hit at once, you can still end up coughing.
