Both live resin and live rosin are extracted from fresh-frozen plants to preserve maximum flavor and potency. The key difference is how they’re made:
- Live Resin is made using hydrocarbon extraction (usually butane or propane). This method pulls out cannabinoids and terpenes efficiently, offering high potency and bold flavor.
- Live Rosin is solventless — made using heat and pressure without chemicals. It’s considered more natural but is usually more expensive and lower in yield.
Live resin offers the same terpene-rich experience but at a more accessible price point. At Binoid, we use true live resin in many of our blends for the perfect balance of strength and flavor.
