THC-C, aka tetrahydrocananbiorcol is a very rare cannabinoid derived from the male hemp plant, and unlike other THC compounds, it doesn’t have the ability to get a person high. It’s getting more and more attention, as the hemp industry is gearing up to release THC-C products. But, for the time-being, studies on its properties are quite limited.
Despite that, we fully understand that the community of hemp enthusiasts want to make sure that they’re taking something that’s safe, once it does appear on the market. So, does THC-C have any side effects? Let’s find out.

Are There Any Side Effects Associated with THC-C?
For now, given what we know about every other cannabinoid, we can say that THC-C does not cause any major side effects. No side effects have been reported, because the cannabinoid isn’t available yet, but we can say that it’s a nontoxic compound, like all cannabinoids, so no side effects should be serious in any way.
So, here is what you may experience after taking THC-C, depending a lot on how much you take, and your general THC tolerance.
#1: THC-C May Cause Dry Mouth
Dry mouth, also known as “cottonmouth”, is extremely common with pretty much all psychoactive cannabinoids like THC-C. Just know that it’s not actually caused by dehydration, which many mistakenly believe. In actuality, it’s caused by the interaction between the cannabinoid and cannabinoid receptors that control our salivary glands. And, it is easily fixed with a quick glass of some water.
#2: THC-C May Cause Dry or Bloodshot Eyes
All cannabinoids impact the cannabinoid receptors that regulate the moisture levels in our eyes, which is why it’s extremely common for your eyes get very dry when you take any intoxicating cannabis cannabinoids. Not only might your eyes feel dry, but they may look bloodshot. If this happens to you, simply get some lubricating eye drops to remedy the issue.

#3: THC-C May Make You Feel Dizzy
Some cannabinoids like THC-C can cause very slight dizziness/lightheadedness. And, many report that this side effect can be even stronger if you’ve also consumed alcohol. Fortunately, it’s incredibly unlikely that you would actually faint after taking any cannabinoid, but if you do feel weak or unsteady, sitting or lying down is the best move.
#5: THC-C May Slightly Lower Blood Pressure
Most cannabinoids slightly reduce blood pressure for the duration of time in which the cannabinoid is “active” in the bloodstream. That can be part of the dizziness/lightheadedness we talked about earlier, and also cause a slight increase in your heartrate. We don’t know if this is something that would happen after taking THC-C compound, because no studies have been done on the cannabinoid’s impact on blood pressure. But, it is possible. Again, you don’t really need to do anything about this but simply wait it out.
#6: THC-C May Cause Drowsiness
Feeling drowsy after taking cannabinoids is more common if you’ve taken a large dose, or if never consumed cannabinoids before. You may feel groggy, sleepy, or simply lazy, and again, there’s absolutely no cause for concern. If you feel inclined to do so, lay down or take a nap, and you’ll feel like yourself again in no time.
THC-C May Come with Some Minor Side Effects, But Nothing Serious!
Of course, no one wants to experience any side effects, but the good news is that these potential side effects are not actually serious in any way. And, keep in mind that the best way to prevent them is to follow the product label’s dosing directions, to avoid taking too much. Besides that, you should stick to a trustworthy brand for your THC-C needs, like Binoid, to be sure you’re buying a legitimate, safely made, and high-quality formula that’s undergone strict lab-testing to ensure success.
